COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University's men's basketball team has been firing on all cylinders, winning five of its last six in large part due to the play of senior guard Mark Minch. Monday, the Ohio Athletic Conference selected Minch as its Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native has appeared unstoppable at times since arriving at Capital, leading the Crusaders in nearly all scoring categories.
On Saturday, he helped Capital capture its second OAC victory of the season against the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears. The senior scored a game- and season-high 25 points. He shot 62.5 percent (10-for-16) from the field.
