COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Football fans will have more to look forward to than a matchup with a nationally-ranked opponent on Saturday, Oct. 13 as Capital will proudly welcome the Ohio State School for the Blind Marching Band to Bernlohr Stadium.
The nationally-recognized band will take the field at halftime of the game against the University of Mount Union when the band's members, students in grades 7-12, will showcase their talents.
Founded in 2005, the OSSBMB is the world's only blind marching band. This is the second time that the band will perform at Capital after first appearing at a Capital game in 2016. The group has also performed at venues and events all over the state and the world including at Ohio Stadium, the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif., the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. and the London New Year's Day Parade in London, England.
