If you are looking for a ticket to the Capital-Otterbein rivalry game, you can do a good deed and receive free admission to the contest at the same time. Bring one nonperishable canned food item and your ticket is on the house. Otterbein will be holding a canned food drive that will benefit the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) and The Promise House.
WARM is an organization that provides compassionate, short-term assistance, educational services, employment services, and spiritual support in order to encourage individuals to achieve a God-reliant, self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope.
The Promise House is an Otterbein student-led community resource center that serves under-resourced students. We offer services to help peers flourish including a community café, campus food pantry, referrals to community resources, peer advocacy, volunteer opportunities, and educational workshops.
Game time for the 90th edition of this rivalry matchup is set for 2 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Westerville. Otterbein (1-2, 1-1 OAC) has won the last four meetings, but comes off of a 16-10 loss versus Ohio Northern University. Capital has put together a 2-0 start in Ohio Athletic Conference play after its 35-21 win over Wilmington College last weekend.
