OAC Media Day Reveals Polls and Thoughts on Upcoming Season

CANTON, Ohio – Capital University Football enjoyed a day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, where the annual OAC Football Media Day was held. A crowd of more than 100 staff, coaches, student-athletes, and media members from around the conference were in attendance to celebrate the start of a new season and learn the results of this year's media and coaches' polls.

The University of Mount Union topped both the media and the coaches' poll and received all but one available first-place vote. The top five spots in each poll mimicked one another with John Carroll University, Ohio Northern University, Baldwin Wallace University, and Heidelberg University rounding out the top five.

Capital fared better in the media poll, capturing 98 points to rank seventh out of 10 teams. In the coaches' poll, they were picked to finish ninth.
