COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Baseball unveiled its 2020 regular season schedule on Wednesday. Fourteen games will be played at Clowson Field. The remaining 17 games will take place at competing school's venues.
The Crusaders will begin their 2020 season with a home-and-home series against Ohio Wesleyan University. The Purple and White will play at Littick Field on Wednesday, March 4 then will return home to play Ohio Wesleyan the following day on its own baseball diamond. The next five games of the season will be played on the road against non-conference opponents. The Crusaders will play a doubleheader against Transylvania University on Wednesday, March 11 and will play a three game series against Earlham College three days later.
Capital will open conference play on Saturday, March 21 against last year's OAC Tournament Champion, Otterbein University. Throughout conference play Capital will face several non-conference opponents including Bluffton University, Denison University, Wittenberg University, Wooster College, and Hiram College. Capital will wrap up its regular season on Saturday, May 2 against Heidelberg University.
Capital finished 11-25 last season and were 6-12 in conference play.
