The Crusaders will once again begin their season in sunny Winter Have, Fla. with a week in the Sunshine State from Feb. 22-March 2. Capital went 6-3 over last year's Spring Break trip.

On March 6 and 7, Capital will play a home-and-home series with Ohio Wesleyan University in the team's first taste of game-action in Ohio. Both of those games are scheduled for 4 p.m. first pitches and the game on March 7 will be Capital's home opener.

The second game against OWU is the first of seven games in a row at Clowson Field as Oberlin College, Denison University, Wittenberg University and John Carroll University will all be in Columbus from March 9-23 with doubleheaders against Wittenberg and JCU in Capital's Ohio Athletic Conference opener on March 23.

Following away contests at Kenyon College and Bluffton University, the Crusaders return home for one game against Mt. St. Joseph University on March 27. Capital finishes March with a doubleheader at Ohio Northern University on March 30.

Four home games await to kick off April with doubleheaders against Marietta College and Muskingum University on April 6 and 9, respectively. This year's crosstown rivalry matchup against Otterbein University will take place on April 13 in Westerville and perennial powerhouse College of Wooster will come to Clowson Field a day later on April 14. The rest of April consists of OAC doubleheaders with Wilmington College, Baldwin Wallace University and the University of Mount Union and a single game at Defiance College on April 23.

Capital will close out the regular season on Friday, May 3 against Heidelberg University at home. In all, the Crusaders will play 17 games at home at Clowson Field, 12 games on the road and then the neutral-site games in Florida.
