SPORTS INFORMATION - Event Broadcaster

Capital Athletics is looking for energetic, motivated and positive individuals that are fluent in sport and Capital’s sports teams to develop a student broadcasting team. Opportunities for play-by-play commentary and color analysis for video and audio-only broadcasts are available, based on talent. - more information -

SPORTS INFORMATION - Event Photographer

Capital Athletics is looking for creative, energetic, and motivated individuals that are well versed in still and action photography. - more information -

WOMEN'S SOCCER - Videographer

Film all home and away women's soccer contests with occasional training session (to be used for highlight video). HiDef video camera and tri-pod will be provided. September 1 - October 29 time-span for regular season. Tournament matches to follow if team receives bid(s). - more information -

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - Game Management

Set up and tear down of games, help with program/ticket sales, assist referees and visiting teams to locker rooms.  - more information -

SOFTBALL - Game Management

Help with field preparation (raking, dragging field, placing bases), shag foul balls. - more information -

ATHLETIC TRAINING - Facility Assistant

- Assisting with inventory and stocking of athletic training supplies -Cleaning tables, coolers, water bottles, floors, etc. - Assisting with laundry responsibilities - Set up for practices and games - Driving to and from physician appointments as needed  |  - more information -




The Capital University Sports Information Department seeks highly motivated individuals that are interested in serving as an intern for Fall 2017 and/or the 2017-18 academic year. Start/end dates, and hours are flexible. Should be available on nights and weekends for athetic events.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) helping with the reconstruction of Capital Athletic Hall of Fame materials, both digital and hard copy. The individual will also be afforded the opportunity to plan sports information tasks for the 2017-18 year, write press releases, broadcast (if desired), perform game day event operations, as well as learn various StatCrew systems per their experience level.

Candidates with experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are prefered, but not required.
