COLUMBUS, Ohio – This Saturday, February 9, will be a busy day inside The Capital Center when Capital Men's Basketball welcomes Baldwin Wallace University to town. The Crusaders will celebrate its seniors while welcoming back alumni, young and old. Freshii, Capital Athletics' newest partner, will also be featured in a promotional giveaway day.

Capital (17-4, 12-2 OAC), now ranked No. 21 in the latest poll announced by D3Hoops.com, will host Baldwin Wallace (14-7, 8-6) on Saturday with tipoff set for 2 p.m. from inside The Capital Center. Prior to the game, the men's basketball team's five seniors will be honored for their careers in Purple and White. Capital Cheer will be recognized prior to the game, as well. Programming will begin at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Capital University alumni are invited to join in on the game's festivities and support the Purple and White. All CU alumni will be granted free admission into the game. A special section of seating will be available to alums and their guests in order to help reconnect with fellow members of the #CapFam or meet new friends.

In addition, Bexley's newest restaurant and Capital partner Freshii will be on display for its first of two promotional days. Freshii will be providing free samples of various tasty menu items in the lobby of The Capital Center and will be tossing out free basketballs to those in attendance. Two halftime shooting competitions will be held for the chances to win a catered party for 20 by Freshii. Cap students and alums will be drawn out of the crowd to compete, so be sure to find a seat!

To kick off halftime, Capital Athletics will also be recognizing the Crusader men's soccer team for its Ohio Athletic Conference regular season championship and a berth into its second consecutive NCAA Tournament earlier this year.

Capital Men's Basketball is now tied for first place in the OAC with No. 11 Marietta College (18-3, 12-2) who it defeated for the second time this season, last week. The Crusaders will host Heidelberg University (7-13, 5-8) on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
