COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University and Ohio Northern University's athletic departments have announced that this weekend's basketball series will be moved to Friday night.

Women's Basketball (10-7, 5-4 OAC) will host the Polar Bears (10-6, 4-5 OAC) at The Capital Center on Friday night. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Men's Basketball (13-3, 8-1 OAC), currently ranked No. 20 in the country, will play the Ohio Northern (4-12, 0-9 OAC) in Ada on Friday night, also at 7 p.m.

The move to Friday night is a proactive step by both sides to avoid anticipated heavy winter weather that will be passing through Ohio over the weekend.

This weekend marks the beginning of the second leg of the Ohio Athletic Conference schedule. Earlier this season, Men's Basketball defeated the Polar Bears on December 8 by a 79-53 score. Women's Basketball completed the sweep later that day with a road win over the rival Polar Bears, 63-56, in a prior edition of the OAC Game of the Week.

Live statistics and video will be available for both games. All links are available through the online home of Capital Athletics, athletics.capital.edu.
