Capital Women's Soccer's College ID Clinic provides an insight into the training environment expected from a student athlete at Capital. Each of the field sessions are designed to be challenging and thoughtful with player centered development and creativity as their benchmark. Our clinics have been developed specifically for the female soccer player and the curriculum is appropriate for players looking to play college soccer. Players will work on individual technical training to enhance comfort and control on the ball, and then progress into more advanced tactical training which may cover:

  • Individual and team defending
  • Possession and midfield principles
  • Finishing with small group attacking.
  • Mini tournaments and competitive matches (provides an opportunity for individuals to highlight their abilities in front of Capital’s coaching staff).
  • Individual GK sessions will be offered

At the conclusion of the field session we will hold a question and answer session for the players followed by a campus tour with the soccer staff and current players.
