BASEBALL  

 

Kids Baseball Camp
When: January 3rd and January 4th  |  9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University
Ages: 7-12 years old
Price: $65 each day

Improve your skills with high-end instruction from the Capital Baseball coaching staff and players! Each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt! Choose one or both days to work on various skills and preparation techniques.

2018 Winter Prospect Camp
When: December 9th  |  10 a.m. check-in
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University
Ages: 9th - 12th grades
Price: $100

Showcase your baseball talents and skills while receiving high-end instruction from the Capital baseball coaching staff. Early sessions will include breakdowns with fundamental teaching of skills and camp will conclude with a live game. All campers attending will be given a player analysis with strengths and weaknesses from the coaching staff. Head Coach Ryan Grice will host a Q&A session on the recruiting process.

VOLLEYBALL

When: December 15th, 2018
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University  |  10am - 1pm (registration: 9:30am)
Cost: $45

This high-energy clinic is designed to focus on enhancing individual skill level, as well as volleyball IQ. Drills will be skill specific, competitive, and foster a high-intensity environment that requires teamwork. It is our overall goal that each participant leave the gym knowing they grew as an athlete and volleyball player. Training is conducted in an NCAA arena at The Capital Center by current athletes and coaches.

SOFTBALL

2019 Hitting and Bunting Camps
When: January 12th and February 9th  |  8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University
Ages: 5th - 12th grades
Price: $50

2019 Defense Camps
When: January 19th and February 16th  |  8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University
Ages: 5th - 12th grades
Price: $40

Learn the basics of hitting, bunting and defense from Nan Payne, one of the most successful and decorated softball coaches in the state of Ohio, and her staff. These clinics are open to girls of any skill level and ability and will provide participants with the opportunities to improve every facet of their games. The clinics will display and teach the basic fundamentals of fastpitch softball, specifically the skills and techniques concerned with hitting, bunting and defense. Hitting and bunting participants should bring a favorite bat and helmet, but bats will be provided if needed. Defense participants should bring a glove. Capital softball apparel will be available for sale during the clinic.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Day Camp I
June 3-6  |  Open to girls entering grades 3-9
Cost: $250
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University

This camp will highlight fundamental offensive and defensive basketball skills, emphasize improving and understanding basketball through individual and small group sessions, and is designed to assist campers in becoming scoring threats, as well as enhance their offensive and defensive skills. 

Shooting Camp
June 19-21  |  Open to girls entering grades 3-10
Cost: $285 (resident) or $225 (commuter)
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University

This is a positional and shooting camp used to develop guard and post fundamentals. This camp will encompass all facets of offensive development including ball handling, shooting, 1-on-1 moves, and much more. Camp runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. You may choose to commute each day or your camper may stay with us on campus as a resident in one of our on-site living spaces.

Day Camp II
June 24-27  |  Open to girls entering grades 3-9
Cost: $250
Where: The Capital Center, Capital University
