Timothy Miller, MD
Dr. Miller's clinical interests include "The Aging Athlete", shoulder pain and instability, shoulder labral repair, rotator cuff injuries, injuries in the throwing and overhead athlete, AC joint injuries and reconstruction, Elbow Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction, Stress fractures and soft tissue overuse injuries, ACL, PCL and multiple ligament knee injuries, meniscus repair and transplantation, patello-femoral instability, medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction, Achilles tendon injuries, ankle instability and sports-related trauma.
His research interests are treatment and prevention of stress fractures and overuse injuries of the upper and lower extremity, gait analysis, dance injuries, arthritis prevention, physical fitness beyond adolescence, biology of bone healing and repair, ACL injury prevention, ACL reconstruction techniques and outcomes, sports nutrition and performance-enhancing supplements, endurance athlete physiology.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Miller was a four-year member of the OSU track and cross country teams.
Michael A Jonesco DO
Dr. Michael Jonesco is board certified in Internal Medicine and joined the OSU Sports Medicine team in 2010. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine. His primary interests include the diagnosis and management of all sports or activity-related injuries, including arthritis and concussion. He is trained in a wide range of traditional treatment modalities, as well as joint and soft tissue injections, concussion management and osteopathic manipulation.
Dr. Jonesco is an Ohio native, born in Columbus and raised in Oberlin. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and graduated magna cum laude. At Ohio Wesleyan he earned Academic All-American honors as quarterback and captain of the Battling Bishop football team. He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. It was during his internal medicine residency at Indiana University where his passion for sports medicine was first sparked. From Indiana University, he secured and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. At the Cleveland Clinic he worked with the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Cavaliers as well as the Bedford High School and John Carroll University athletic programs.
Dr. Jonesco is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
