Danielle Szalay will begin her thirdyear as part of the Capital University athletic training team in 2016-17.
She comes to Capital from the United States Military Academy where she spent eight years serving the Black Knights' volleyball, softball, women's basketball and women's soccer teams. Szalay also spent the last year treating Army's men's and women's rugby teams. Prior to her time at West Point, she was an assistant trainer at Kent State University, where she also completed her graduate work.
Szalay was an intern with the Toledo Mudhens (AAA baseball) while completing her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2003.
