Zimmer was flying around the field against Wilmington in Capital Football's 38-17 win on Saturday in what was one of Cap's best defensive performances of the year. The Crusaders allowed a season-low 17 points and Zimmmer made five tackles, three for loss, with one sack. The Malinta, Ohio native also forced a fumble. Zimmer has 23 tackles this season, a career-best, and has 1.5 sacks this year. The Crusaders allowed only 285 total yards on Saturday and limited the Quakers to 3-of-11 on third down, just 27 percent, and Wilmington was 0-for-3 on fourth down.
